Flexible roles and hours. High ownership.
Landsat designs, builds and runs LOBO, a solar security tower, and Fleet, the software behind it. Our customers are commercial, industrial and defense sites. The team is small, so each person owns their work from start to finish, across hardware, software, AI and field deployments.
How we work
- All roles are contract, paid hourly.
- Hours are flexible.
- Degrees are optional. We look at work you have done.
- Some defense work requires U.S. citizenship.
Open roles
Software engineer, full stack
Build features across Fleet, our backend services and APIs, and the system that updates towers in the field. You make sound architecture decisions and keep systems reliable and easy to understand as they grow.
Software engineer, embedded (C, microcontrollers)
Write firmware and work close to the hardware on small, constrained devices. You know C and can debug low-level problems.
AI engineer
Adapt open-source models to run on the tower's own hardware, build the pipelines around them and make them work in real conditions. Getting models deployed matters more than theory.
Manufacturing and field technician
Build and prepare towers in our San Antonio shop, support deployments and fix problems on site. You are dependable, hands-on and comfortable moving between shop and field work.
Business development, commercial and industrial
Find customers and partners, build the relationships and close deals. You can explain the technology and what it does for a site.
Business development, government and defense
Help win government and defense work: procurement, SBIRs and relationships with units and contracting offices.
How to apply
Email glenn@landsat.technology with the role you want and something you have built or solved: a GitHub, project, portfolio or short write-up. Next is a short call and a practical task, then a quick yes or no.
